Ezgo pds cart 36 volt moves slow
Good evening BGW. I have a ezgo pds cart that is acting up. Sometimes when I get on it to ride I will hot the pedal and it will run real slow. Turn the key of and turn it on put in reverse and it runs normal. Back in forward and runs normal. Then turn it off and same issue slow speed. What is this crazy thing doing? Battery pack is great voltage.

Put it in maintenance mode and see if you hear any fault codes. Key off, FnR switch from N to R 5 times returning to N. Do that then drive it. Report back what you hear.

Sounds suspiciously like a bad speed sensor or maybe controller going to limp mode when sensing a welded solenoid. The trouble code mode may shed some light on the problem.

It was a bad speed sensor, and a voltage drop issue on top of that.
