Broken clutch can't remove
I really need some good advice on this one.
07 Club Car DS. Attempting to remove the drive clutch that has been severely damaged by others. Removal tool is of no use. Had to cut clutch front half off. Now left with rear piece and pulley. Have tried using hardened bolt on shaft with 3 jaw puller on pulley. Won't budge. Pounded the shaft, pounded the pulley. Help needed!!!! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Re: Broken clutch can't remove
Heat would be the first thing i'd suggest but that close to the crank seal you'd have to be very careful.I would try to let it soak with a penetrant for awhile.

Here's where I'm at now.
Don't think heat is an option. Too close to engine. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Re: Broken clutch can't remove
Use the puller with a air impact
If you manage to break off the back sheave then use a grinder to get the clutch as small as possible then use a dremel tool to cut a line down to the crank Then maybe you could use a chisel to open it up and slide, break it off Just remember the shaft is tapered as to not nick it up to much |

Will probably opt for grinding. I used a 3 jaw puller. Bent the heck outta the pulley. Sprayed down with penetrant, left the puller there all night. Still no movement.

Re: Broken clutch can't remove
Looks good like you didn't even hit the shaft.
