Default 2004 PDS wiring...

Hey guys, need some help on a 36volt Ezgo PDS golf cart..I think its a 2004, not sure...The owner was trying to replace the F/R switch and did not mark the wires and has no idea where they go.

Figured it would be a easy job, however the controller is a 1206-03. I can not find a wiring diagram for a 1206-03, plenty of the all the other 1206 models but not the 03. It only has three lugs and a 6 pin connector....

So if anyone has a diagram or can tell me where the wires go from the motor to the controller to the F/R switch that would be great...

Thanks
Bill

PS..please don't just say stickys...There is a picture of a 1206-03 but no wiring diagram unless there is another one some where else....

2004 PDS had a 10 pin connector.
2004 series cart has a 6 pin.

Sounds like you have series cart.

Hey ScottyB....I saw that diagram but that is a 1206 controller...It has 4 lugs...The 1206-03 only has three lugs and the 6 pin connector. This cart was brought to me with the new F/R switch laying in the floor...so I need to know what numbered motor wire goes to where on the controller and to the F/R switch....Three lug controller...

Thanks.....and waiting....

Sounds like you have a stock series controller without a A2 terminal. It is wired up the same, except for the A2 cable from controller to F/R switch, which doesn't exist.

Here is a schematic that I erased the A2 cable and A2 terminal from.

OK..thanks a million...this is the diagram I was looking for...HOWEVER...one of the two is marked backwards....for example...on the one JohnnieB sent A1 from motor goes to M- on controller and A2 goes to F/R switch....On the one Sir Nuke sent A1 from motor goes to F/R switch and A2 goes to M-......

If the one JohnnieB sent is correct, which one of the letters (ABCD) is the top post on the F/R switch in the golf cart....

There is more than one way to cable this cart. Follow one diagram or the other - DO NOT mix part of diagram a with part of diagram b
