Default 2015 Legacy parcar front shims

If you hit your golf cart rim on curb or wherever, spend the $ and have a mobile company come out and check your alignment (unless of course if you know how to do it yourself)................

After hitting my wheel a couple of times each requiring an alignment, the service tech told me when he was at the house for my semi-annual service call that once aligned the front shims have to be looked at for loosenes (they are soft copper and apparently dent easy?), He showed me where they are and sure enough, the last wheel rim that I hit (right front), the wheel has "play" it it up/down. Right left is OK but up/down has about 1/8" play in it, and he said that may affect alignment if not fixed.

1.) As long as my front tires wear ok should I even worry about tis?

2.) How to I "fix" this loosenes problem, where is the parts / service manual for 2015 legacy electric that would show part # for shim and torque spec for the nut with the cotter pin that holds the front wheel assembly together?

Any thought would be appreciated.

PS: the first hit trashed my 2 front tires in about 6 months ( I should have had alignment chked after I hit curb, my bad) replaced both front tires and had alignment done ($400), second hit I saw affecting tires, again a little late but salvages tires by rotating them and had front wheels aligned by a mobile company ($6

The castle nut doesn't have a torque value, as it tightens against the bearings. You seat the bearing, then tighten the until there is slight drag on the wheel, then back off a notch of the castle to insert the cotter pin.

The full service and parts manuals are not posted "to the world" for current products, only the older units. They are accessible to dealers through the Columbia ParCar website but only with authorized logins.

But attached is the section on the front end.
