When you hear the solenoid click you should have continuity on the 2 big posts.

Could be almost any connection along the path. Check everything, but grounds seem to be more often the issue. Don't forget any ground straps between the engine/ engine cradle & main frame. you could try running a jumper from the ground terminal on the starter / generator straight to battery (-). That would bypass all the chassis grounds and at least let you know if that is where you need to be hunting.

I'm not really sure what I'm looking for I'm assuming that the black wires are ground. They're soldered together and then they split up, one looks like it is being grounded to the frame(I thought these carts weren't grounded to the frame??) one goes behind the motor, one to the key switch I think, and the other one to the small black box behind the
solenoids. Is there another fuse I should be looking for? Another ground? |
