Default Oil suggestion XRT 950 Front differential.

Hi everyone, Just purchased a 2013 XRT 950. According to the manual the automatic locking front differential takes Mobil 424, Exxon Hydraul
560, or Esso Hydraul 56 lubricant. Anyone have any suggestions of an alternate hydraulic fluid for these. Nobody stocks these around me and online these are very expensive , the nearest Club car dealer is like 2 HRS away. I live on a farm,, HyGard equivalent maybe? Thanks

Do you know if it has a clutch type limited slip differential?

Mobil 424 is a 10w-30 weight transmission and hydraulic fluid designed for wet brake and wet clutch applications which probably means the front diff is a clutch type Limited slip or locking diff.
You can buy universal tractor transmission hydraulic fluid at most Napa stores or Tractlr supply or ag/farm supply stores. Seems to me that at one point Walmart had something similar as well.
Look for anything that meets JD Hy-gard, Case/New Holland Hy-Tran (Ultra), Kubota UDT, Cat TO-2, or similar specification. Typically labeled as a Universal Tractor hydraulic fluid, or Tractor Transmission hydraulic fluid.

If it has no clutches, is just an open center gear diff, then any regular 10w30 or 10w40 can work, or you may want to find a 30w oil that meets API GL-4 spec.
