Club car carryall rear transaxle locked
Anybody know how the rear transaxle locker works? Mine won’t unlock and so it takes a city block to turn around. It doesn’t feel like it was welded or at least there is some slop between left and right rear wheel turn

What year is it? What model?
I know some of the XRT cars had lockers in the rear but they usually fail open so the cart wont move at all. Those were a $900 part, so it's entirely possible someone stripped it down and welded the gears if they didn't feel like spending the money to replace it. |

That year would be the same as DS. I don’t know if any locking or limited slip rear that would have come on those. Someone has probably been in there and modified it.

Ok it’s a 2001 pioneer and seems to roll a quarter turn with other wheel moving opposite direction then posi I’m wondering if the engagement arm or gear is stuck or damaged and won’t disconnect
