Re: Bad axle bearings - Club Car
So, apparently I forgot to provide an update as I had meant to. It's fixed and back together. I was able to mic the sleeve and locate on Amazon (it DID have to be cut off). I could not budge the sleeve or bearing and was to the point I was a little scared of damage or bend to the axle so I dropped it off at a local reputable shop. They kept it over night, attempted to remove for an hour, then ended up outsourcing to a Jeep shop who ended up just cutting it off. At the time I did not consider cutting myself (could have easily) because apparently, per Club Car, these sleeves were not available and they only sell the entire one piece axle with bearing and sleeve for about $500 (found around $300 online). After I located the new parts pressing them on was quite tight. I was only able to put on 1/2 way with a pipe and 3lb hammer. To avoid damage, at that time I placed it into my 20 ton press which finished the job with some decent amount of pressure. These things are TIGHT, to say the least.

I've got photos but apparently it's again not allowing me to upload, thought this information may help someone in the future.
