36 volt ez go dcx controller wont light up

I have been reading the posts but am getting no where. Its a 96 EZ GO 36 volt. LED wont come on and the yellow wire on pin 5 only has 1.6 volts on it. Solonoid clicks but no voltage on pins 9 and 10 ( black and white ).
PIN 1: 36v pedal pressed or not
PIN 2: 36v pedal pressed or not
PIN 3: BLANK
PIN 4: 1.6
PIN 5: 1.6 pedal or not
PIN 6: 36v pedal pressed
PIN 7: 0v
PIN 8: 36v pedal or not
PIN 9 0v pedal pressed or not
PIN 10: 0v pedal pressed or not

Do I need the diode between the small posts on the solonoid? Another basket case left on my lap. Voltages were the same with the diode on. Solonoid clicks when key turned on and in forward.

Your counting the pins wrong, or you've somehow managed to plug the 10-pin connector on backwards.

Here's a schematic for a DCX controller in a DCS drive cart and an operator manual for a DCX.

You need pack voltage (38.2V when fully charged) on pins 6, 9 and 10 to get the DCX to power up.

I ran a DCX in my PDS until the XCT was introduced.

Oh boy thanks!!!!! I got this cart from a guy who said he replaced the controller solonoid etc. I was assuming it was correct. Thanks again!!!! Only thing Im wondering is the blank spot on the controller lines up with the blank spot on the 10 pin connector and the colors match up?

I have some woof the same issue. I hope you don’t mind me jumping in since it’s about the same thing. I installed a new motor and controller wired it up cart moves but the controller led light is not on? On the controller there is one open terminal, a green one. It’s labeled GRN User. What am I missing here?
My EZGO is a 2001, non regen.
Am I missing a power wire to this terminal? I called Alltrx but never got a return call back. Any help would be appreciated.

The Pin-8 slot doesn't have a pin on the DCX controller and the Pin-8 slot on the plug ought to be plugged so the connector will only go on one way.

When connected correctly, the wire colors ought to match the colors of the wires as shown on the DCX in a DCS schematic I attached.

This is a thread about a sepex drive and a DCX controller, you have a series drive and a SR controller.

Start a new thread, you have an entirely different drive system and controller.

found the yellow wire ( pin 6 was landed on the wrong side of the solonoid). Pins 6, 9 and 10 all have 36 volts .LED still not lit nothing works.

Is there a way to test the pedal speed module? I hooked up and ohm meter to the posts and excersised the pedal no change in the reading
