2017 RXV 12V accessories not working.
My 2017 EZGO RXV Freedom lights, brake lights, and horn all stopped working. I checked the 3 fuses for all of them and they are all good. The dc-dc converter and all lights are stock. I checked the dc-dc voltage step down converter and it is getting 48V but not putting out 12V. I tried to check with a multimeter to see if it was getting 48V from the ignition line but I didn’t get anything. While it could be I need to replace the dc-dc converter I was trying to see if anyone knew where the ignition wire is hooked up to. Thanks in advance.

If I remember right there is a fuse at the DC-DC converter to check it.

I just checked that one. It looks good as well also gets 48V at the plug that goes into the converter.

That converter can be wired to be on any time it gets power or triggered. Did the headlights work before when the cart was off? If so it was continuously on. They do go bad.

The lights had previously only turned on when the golf cart was on but turned off when switched to the off position.

Okay does the converter have 48 going to it when the key is off?

Yes it does have 48V going to the voltage input on the converter in the off position. But nothing on the wire labeled 48V Ignition.

If you have 48 going to it and no 12 coming out the converter is bad.

If I have read all this right this converter is supposed to be triggered by power from the key switch. Currently you have 48 input from battery pack to converter but no 12 volt output. But you also have no input from the key switch to activate the converter. Is that an accurate assessment ? If so, then you have a problem in the feed from switch to converter. I don't know where it's tied in but it should be activated from key switch output.

Okay my bad. Pull the converter and see if there is a diagram on it.
