What, are you trying to get to a total of 5" lift? What are your plans for the rear?

So how does using the blocks up front affect the steering, is there any binding or is there enough travel in all the joints/tie rod ends?

mopar, I used the Jakes 4" on my 90 marathon, with the drop axle, I have no problem with ground clearance, but it could always be bigger

we use the later year 94 and up front 5" drop beam than we also add the long front springs makes it ride nice but a few bucks more than the common lift

If anyone has concerns with "Caster-Angle" take your front springs to a local spring-shop and have them tweak the front 4"-5" of the spring upwards about 1/4" or so(every cart is a little different). If you have a angle-finder,check before lift and after then correct the springs accordingly.I work in a spring-shop and this works great and takes about 5 min. to do both springs. For rear shocks,Monroe 32207 is a bolt on replacement for 3-5" lift kits and does not require spacers.Hope this helps.

Bending up the spring lowered it too though??? Good idea, mine is sketchy at speed which is from that issue, no castor!!

you only bend the tip of the spring, just behind the spring-plate.And only enough to correct your caster-angle.Keep in mind, the more Negative-Caster(top of spindles forward)the more it will hunt and wander, and also be scary at speed.Try to keep it close to 0,also if you stay 0-negative it will steer easier. We did mine and my Dads' Marathons. His was horrible before and it made a huge improvement in handling and looks.Mine was done when building the cart,so i have nothing to compare it to,but i know what the results would have been.If you know anyone with a electric/hydraulic press(operates simlar to a log-splitter),you can bend the springs, just bump them a little in the chosen spot(make sure same spot on both)and you will get the correct angle you are looking for.

If you don't want to fabricate your own lift kit and don't mind spending $100. You can go the route I did. Purchase one on E-bay. A 5" kit costs $70 with $20 shipping. It installed easily with no problems. I used 22 X11 X10 polished al. wheels and tires. Search my threads. I got alot of good advice from BrewCityMusic.
