Re: 2000 series ezgo needs help
well i havent even moved my cart since i charged it last. it is now down to 37.7. i'am guessing that this isn't a good thing. i havent had a chance to get a tester yet, and its been raining here so i havent got the cart out. if the batteries end up beening bad, (which i think they are). will this still not fix me not having any torque.

Re: 2000 series ezgo needs help
Specific gravity tester can be purchased at any auto parts store. Make sure you get one with a glass float, NOT the one with the little plastic balls in it. Plastic balls are toys, glass float is a real tool.
Batteries that cannot accept and HOLD a charge will NOT generate good torque, no matter what setup you have. |

Re: 2000 series ezgo needs help
Understood. It's hard to say from this distance, but new batteries can only help your situation. I just want to make sure that yours are spent BEFORE you start dropping $1 Large on batteries and controllers combined. Big tires on sparkies sap pack potential very quickly. You need a good pack AND a good controller to manage that pack. All other things being equal, a big tire cart will go through a pack faster than a stock cart.
A 48v conversion wouldn't hurt either....... |
