2006 e z go txt
I just bought a 2006 E Z Go TXT and I was wanting to get a little more pulling power out of this cart. I'm going to put a lift kit on it for hunting. It's has good batteries they are only 2 years old. It's a 36 volt. What can I do without putting to much more money in for now?

First off, Welcome !!!
I am just checking first, is your FnR switch by your legs? If it is then one of the first things you can do is install some 4 gauge cables, then maybe a controller, what kind of lift are you looking for and what size tires? |

Yes, the FnR switch is by my leg. I'm looking at a Jakes lift with 22'' or 23'' tires. The Jakes lift cost around $100.00 more than most other lifts is it worth it?

If you are going with a Spindle Lift, Jakes is the best I have seen. If you are going with a Long Travel, there are 3 options, Jakes, All-Sport and Stretch.

What would it cost to replace all the battery cables with 4ga. wire if I replaced them myself?

Re: 2006 e z go txt
Make sure you get high stranded 4GA, not 6GA.
6 ga. is just too small for even a golf course cart. it causes 2 much trouble. |

Re: 2006 e z go txt
You can do the cables yourself, most people do not have there own crimper for the cables, but if you can locate the wire and do it yourself you can save some cash.
