Default New EZGO TXT owner

Newbie here - Took the plunge and traded in my moto-x bike and cash for a 2007 Gas EZGO TXT. Gonna use it around the neighborhood and hunting.

Starting out with the usual mods. New body, lift kit, 24" tires brushed alum wheels, flip out rear seat, gun rack ;) and lights. Will be done tomorrow.

Some upgrades I'll be looking to do quickly - additional lights mounted high on the crossbar, upgrade suspension to something with independent suspension and better steering box, radio, hitch, flush mounting and hardwiring a cheap GPS unit i have and seatbelts for the kids.

Might also look for some engine upgrades. Its a bone stock motor with the governor removed. What kind of upgrades are there out there?

Also curious as to the best independent suspension options out there. Does anyone make a 4 wheel independent suspension kit?

All the best - looking forward to learning a lot here.

Welcome to BGW... The site sponsors here have all the parts and accessories you listed and then some... I have the Allsport and love it. The Jakes kit is also a great product. Definitely visit the SS at the link on the top of the home page and check out there selection. I know ScottyB, Mike and Tom at CPP will be more than happy to meet all of your carting needs. Be warned that cart upgrades is an addiction that is never satisfied and never gets old. Good luck with the build and post us some pics of the build.
