voltage question
I am currently finishing up my first build, but having some wiring probs. this is what I have. 97 txt, w/a 700 logisystems cont. and a GE380 motor. the cont. and motor are for a club, so i had to put a club rearend, and mount a pb-6, which is operating perfect w/ 5000k pedal up and 0k pedal down. I have the key switch running throught the micro. When i press pedal I get 46-48v from aux. contacts on solenoid. One side of soln. has wire to batt.(-)of pack. the other aux. cont. has the power in from the key switch. the 48v wire from controller is going to the 48v constant on soln. I also have the 5k-0k's plugged in to the controller. When i press pedal the soln. clicks and has power. I must b missing something. help and thx.......Also do i need 48 volts for everything to work. I am currently charging batts. but plan on replacing them w/ new ones as soon as cart runs. Voltage was 46v when I was working on it. Charged pack, am getting 52v now. When the soln, "clicks" should i get a volt reading from the big lugs on solenoid? I am not. therefore no power to motor????????????
