87 ezgo spark plug gap??
Can someone tell me the correct sparkplug gap for an 1987 ezgo with the 2 cycle engine. I purchased a new plug from Custom Carts but did not ask for the correct gap. the plug is a NGK BP5HS.
Another question I had was what the correct fuel to oil mixture for this cart if I decide to pre mix instead of trusting the oil injection pump? I have read here that it is 128 to 1 but this seems like a very low amount of oil. also should I assume that the 1 oz of oil to 1 gallon of Gas was an american gallon? |

Re: 87 ezgo spark plug gap??
Welcome Buckhunter! I believe that it is .025 for the gap but not positive. Scrap that oil injector asap and yes, it seems lean but that is correct, one ounce per gallon (american), 128:1 so for you it would be .83 gallons per ounce of oil.
Good luck |
