Motor test
Good afternoon i got a 1997 ezgo golf cart that we are trying to get a test for the electric motor, going with a jumper wire a-1 to s-2 and a jumper cable neg cable a-2 and pos cable to s-1 by passing the controller what should the motor be running at. Full speed right ?. Note that our controller is not connected, we are only testing the motor to see if is good or not. Some one stated to us that the controller was bad so we change it , and it still will work. We check the brushes in the motor and they all look new. So can you help

Re: Motor test
We need to know what drive system you have to know which test is right. Does your cart have a run/tow switch on the controller cover?
