Take a good look at the axle splines too... and be sure you torque the dog piss out of it when you put it back on 70-140 Ft pounds (Max it out.)

If he goes with the CC diff he needs a different motor too but, Robbie and I talked about this once.

Cartfixer mentioned an aftermarket upgrade was available on another forum. I asked for the info, he never responded. The hubs are an EZ-Go design flaw. They should be keyed instead of splined, but some engineer decided this was a better plan (cheaper).

yeah thats the only one I checked and thats the pic. She is smooth lol. THe spline looked good. Im gonna call a local shop in the am to see if they have one laying around. My cart + not runing =

I will eventually do something when I figure out what will work. Untill then, ballin on a budget

Stripped hubs at 48 volt = upgrade to Ausco disc brakes

That will be my 2011 season upgrade!

But how do they resolve the splined hub issue?

last one I saw replaced the splined hub....... no more weak steel....... Ausco builds things right.

So, you mean they use hardened steel splined hubs with the OE hardened steel splined axle?

Scotty would know better than I do but from what I have been given to understand, yes, they use a hardened steel.
