EZGO TX Goes very slow, little power
I have a EZGO TXT with newer batteries, It runs very slow and sluggish, like dead batteries, I checked the voltage without the charger on and it was after about a mile or so run and then just sitting for an hour or so and the voltage reads 38.2. when I put the charger on, the voltage then reads 40.0. also each battery reads 6.3, one read 6.2.
I hope someone can tell me what and how to check this out. I miss my cart moving like it should. Thank you, Brian |

Fully charged battery should read 6.37 anything less is a low charge. 6.31 is at 90% of full charge.
How long do you charge it for? Let the charger cut off on it's own. Sometimes it takes 16 hrs to fully charge a new set of batteries. |

Re: EZGO TX Goes very slow, little power
The batteries are on probably their 20th or so charge, I always fully charge it before I use it, Well the charger is off at least. I am going to install a guage so I can see when the power gets low.
I read the one thread but my F/R switch is behind my knees Thanks so much. Brian |

Re: EZGO TX Goes very slow, little power
Doesn't matter if the charger cut's off if they are less voltage than posted they are low. You may have a charger going out on you.
Are all the connections clean and tight? Is the F/R cam in good working condition, has it been taken a part and cleaned lately? |
