New Alltrax Controller

Its me again. I have my problem diagnosed. Bad controller. I ordered the alltrax 500 controller, but the plug on the top of the controller is different than the plug on the top of my old controller. oh by the way I have a 94 ezgo txt, the early part of 94. Can I just change the plug? Is the wiring the same from the plug to the components they go to? do I have to change the whole harness or just cut the old plug off and rewire in the new plug?

Yes if you have an AXE controller you can just cut the Molex connector off of the cart harness and put female 1/4 spade connectors on the wires... red goes to #1 black goes to #2 and white goes to #3 orange goes to #4 IF you want 1/2 speed reverse.
