Default Howdy new member here !!!

I have just purchased a 2002 Columbia Par Car (48v) Vin# 2ED-30520-E2. After doing alot of research i found out that the motor is a Briggs & Stratton Etek. The motor is shot and i need to know if a motor meant for a Club Car will fit? an also do i need to make any adjustments to my controller. I believe the motor is a 19 spline. Also how do i find out what rear axle i have. I've done some research and the Columbia Par Car has used the same Dana H12 differential as Yamaha and E-Z-GO. How can i tell if my cart has this rear end?

It has the Dana H12, should be a 10.35:1. There may still be a sticker on it with a part number, on the casing...or you can lift one tire, mark the spline, and count how many turns you get on the spline compared to the wheel. Should come up to about 21.7, but then divide by two to get the ratio since one wheel isn't used.

Someone else will have to chirp in on the club car motor, or maybe post that part of the question in club car land...

And is the complete motor shot, just the motor part or just the brushes?

It appears that someone took this thing out an did some mud bogging with it (an got it stuck) The motor is all busted up, 4 to 5 brushes out of the 8 are broken and the fins for the motor were all jammed into the aluminum casing. I can take some pics, but its a mess. I'd just like to bolt on another motor an do away with the Briggs & Stratton Etek motor. Any suggestions ??
