[QUOTE=Dadog70;853218]I ordered mine off ebay but I did call my local dealer to see what they sold them for and they quoted me $207.

Re: 2010 CC Precedent limp mode?
Hi
My authorized CC dealer just called me to tell me that it is covered and there will be no charge for the speed sensor but there is a charge to come to my house. The charge is $79.95 I live an hour away from the main place and their satellite place is 20 minutes further from thier main place but it is closed until the beginning of the golf season here in Ga. I live right off the route between both places. By the way l have no choice because it could be something else which l doubt, but one never knows. I will watch how he does it for future reference. I will let you know the outcome when he comes. |

Re: 2010 CC Precedent limp mode?
Tahoe thats what I thought this dealer is crazy for that price.
I hate to say it but before I found BGW the shop was my only option, I had been using my cart for almost 6 months with a bad speed sensor prior to ordering the speed sensor. I was scared to take it to the shop because of the bill I would have received for them to fix it but within a week on BGW I did the speed sensor test and determined my troubles and had ordered a new speed sensor from ebay and troubles fixed. I wish I would have found BGW sooner because what the shop charged me last year for the controller that I fried (didn't know about using the run/tow switch before playing with wires) that was about a $1000. dollar repair. I could have used that money to really upgrade my cart, won't happen again thanks to BGW an awesome sight. |
