g1 squealing
I just bought a really clean cheap used g1 and got it to the campground and as soon as you start to step on pedal and it starts gives a quick squeal sounds like a belt squeal on a car. Was in the back section just two of us on cart about 300 pounds total and stopped on a very small incline and had a horrible squeal till we got moving good. I am not sure if that is a sign of needing a new drive belt or if something else to check or adjust. Would like to try to locate part in morning to get it going.

Re: g1 squealing
It's either the starter belt or the drive belt. If it's the starter belt, you can tighten it up.

Re: g1 squealing
I am really leaning towards drive belt since why it is cranking no squeal only when it starts to move it squeal.

Re: g1 squealing
I sometimes have the same issue on my g2 on hills or stopping in ruff terrain and then trying to take off is there a way to determine which belt is the culprit ?

Re: g1 squealing
Good to hear. Save the old belts. A squealing belt is better than no belt when you really need it.
