1988 gas 244cc 2pg gen bracket removal
How do i get the 2 bottom bolts all the way out holding my gen bracket to motor, the bolts are real long and when i try removing them they butt up against the pulley and will not come out. Is there a easy way??

Re: 1988 gas 244cc 2pg gen bracket removal
Your saying just jack up the back body only, not frame, but they are still hanging in there???. It seems odd that those bolts are so long it will not clear the clutch pulley though. If these brackets break so often that they need welding, there must be other folks who tried removing them perhaps by different methods?? advise Thanks
