Well you are right and wrong. The dealer cannot do it by himself. They don't send in the controller just the serial # off the controller. Club Car then sends them the code 4 settings (or code) to program into the controller.

I GPS mine late night after I installed the motor and went from 15 to 27mph on flat ground with the stock controller. Lost some bottom end torque though. The only extras I have are the 22" tires and #4 cables.Pretty sure the EX motor that I have will Fit IQ carts. That being said I am not sure how the batteries are going to hold up. If it don't rain I will do more testing this afternoon.
