G14 Governor
I read the Governor Bypass Sticky, but I have a G14. My kids run around the property on the cart all the time, so I don't think I want to go straight to the carb with the throttle cable. They'll blow it up for sure! However, I would like to figure out how to make it go as fast as possible with the governor still on. The sticky talks about turning down a 10mm bolt, but I don't see it. I'm thinking the whole stootin match is under my muffler, but don't know. Anyone know where this screw is on a G14? Thanks for the help...

Re: G14 Governor
Yes it is located directly under your muffler. Get a deep well 10mm socket and tighten the nut up. It will have one cable attached to each side of the bracket

Re: G14 Governor
Screwed it all the way in. HUGE difference. It is like a completely different kart. Thanks for the input. It may get faster if I bypassed the governor completely, but with the lift and the kids driving it, it is plenty fast now. If it was just me, it would be different... Thanks again...

Re: G14 Governor
Merk, directly on top of the transmission. Throttle cable goes to it.

Re: G14 Governor
So, did you do it? Mine is like a different cart. Going to add fender flares and seat cover, then I'm done. Both are ordered and on the way...
