Plowmans posi rebuid
Anyone know if you can rebuild the plowmans limited slip units? I got one about two months ago and it seems to of burned up? I can slip it just by hand.... Anyone had experience with them??? Spent at ton of money on the rear end and limited slip, pretty bummed to say the lest at this point,

It's hard to really tell. I was stuck last weekend and even with me not in the cart, just foot on pedal in never locked up. Just spun the passenger side. I pulled the cover, ton of metallic on the magnet.

I thought they had brass and/or wear plates, but not sure about that. Either way very likely it should not have metal-metal contact to make shavings. Plowman does this stuff himself, he knows the issues and is very good at helping people.

It uses fiber disc that go against the face of the spiders.

Unless they wore out already, or the springs had a problem. I've been into a CC case before, still was some work to pull it out.
