I have a 86 ezgo and my spring is worn out I think I can squeeze the belt and open the plates. Now is my spring adjustable also for more tension or I can shim it? I got the clucth off the rear end already I'm just not sure how the top comes off from where the spring is can anybody shine some light on how I get it off to remove the spring. Thanks james

Gook if you can post a pic of that clutch someone can tell you exactly how to do it. I'd say you will need some type of compression tool. I made one for mine and I'm guessing yours is the same.
