schauer charger JAC2036
I purchased this charger. If you have a bad cell will this charger come on? The green light comes on but not the yellow light. I have 1 bad battery. I didn't replace it yet.

You may have to disable the CC OBC for it to work. On second thought I see it's a 36 volt charger and I don't know if they have OBC's on 36 V carts

If the bad battery is shorted then the charger is doing its job. Replace battery, charge the cart and enjoy your ride.

Its an 84 36v cc, no OBC.
I have the replacement battery its not installed yet. Thanks for the reply's. |

I replaced a bad battery today. The charger still wouldn't come on. I also couldn't get a voltage read across the batteries. I found that 3 of my batteries have reversed polarity. What would have caused this?
