2002 gas Club Car takes a few seconds to go after hitting gas.
I am having an issue with my cart not wanting taking off right away after hitting the foot feed. It eventually does accelerate after it push the foot feed, but takes 2 or 3 seconds. I just recently changed the clutch drive belt and the generator belt, would that have anything to do with it? It's not squealing, so I don't think it's loose, but who knows. Any advice would be great.

The Drive clutch could be sticking.Does the cart have a harsh takeoff when it finally does accelerate?

It takes off just as it should. Could the generator belt be too tight or not tight enough?
