Yep that should work too. A little more effort since you'll have to find and splice it into each turn signal wire but doable.

Since this thread has been brought back to life, and I'm ready to do it, do you think the flasher unit you suggested form Advanced Auto will still work since someone stated we have 3 terminals, not 2?

you might run into the same issue I did with the flasher I bought. You could always return it if it did, though.
