Default Changing rear bearing in 97' EZ GO-HELP!!!

I am trying to change out he rear drivers side bearing in my 97' EZ GO TXT Series cart. I am having a whale of a time removing the axle. Can someone please explain the process of removing the axle. I got the snap ring out. here is a picture of how far I have gotten. Thanks.

ooops, that one was making some noise.

Ok, I'll give you one of my great secrets, then all the other "techs" on here can tell others about it, but here is what you do. Every EZGO comes with its own rear axle puller? What you say? Just take the brake drum, and put it on backwards, put the castle nut on the end of the axle, and use the drum as a slide hammer and pull that sucker out, works every time.

The only thing I will say on your is, if it leaves the outer race in the axle tube, then you will have to break that piece out after the axle is removed.

Is there another snap ring that has to be removed to release the axle? I only removed one.

Its in there tight because the bearing has fallen apart, it could be a real bear to take out if it leaves the outer race in there

I think he's got SPS. Gotta make himself feel "special". 28 years of fixing carts didn't do jack for his piss poor attitude. CYA!

If the whole bearing does not come out, try this

It was a good tip. That wasn't the issue. The issue is he thinks he **** dont stink. He wasn't "having fun", he was being a smartass taking pop shots at others. He can leave the attitude at the door or take it somewhere else. Besides, his answer isn't a big secret. Its been posted many times before.
