![]() Just installed a new started generator in a 98 club car ds. Checked the voltage at the battery while revving and I'm getting around 12.8 volts. I thought that was low. Battery is fully charged reading about 12.3. I did take it for a 20 minute ride and battery was still fully charged. Am I good or do I have a issue.

![]() A fully charged 12v cranking battery should read 12.7. With the engine reving and charger working it should read 14-16 volts. Hope this helps

![]() I don't think the .3 low at stop would account for the 2 and change voltage drop at the battery. I guess i should check by disconnecting the wire to the voltage regulator on the starter and grounding it that terminal?
