![]() I took locked up rear end assembly out drained oil
https://www.dropbox.com/s/mmfrw55mf6...43.34.jpg?dl=0 took out the 10 bolts holding the axle tube on and they came off easy removed the bolts holding the case together,tapped with a dead blow hammer till it separated https://www.dropbox.com/s/0jr2eb13z8...55.51.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/0zcsxtqn7c...04.44.jpg?dl=0 once the case is separated I can see the bearings cage missing and all bearings are to one side on this shaft. https://www.dropbox.com/s/0ffmh32xuo...21.18.jpg?dl=0 I was thinking I was looking for stuck synchros,i do have a gear puller and access to a press 1.where are the synchros? 2.as long as I'm in here, what should I be replacing? part #s would be helpful or any sponsors have a parts diagram? Thanks |
