![]() I’ve been going back and forth between the ECO and the Vatrer battery linked below for weeks and wanted to get some input.
https://www.vatrerpower.com/products...plications-etc The Vatrer as better continuous output at 200A vs 175A on the Eco and max of 400A for 35 sec vs 300A for 30 sec on the Eco.I understand Eco has an 8 year warranty, however it is prorated after 3 years. The Vatrer has a 5 year warranty and is not prorated(I reached out to them directly to confirm). The battery has been reviewed well and I’ve reached out to a few folks on FB groups who have them and they’ve been happy with their decision. My question is, am I missing something on the specs for this battery? Any input would be greatly appreciated, thank you! |

![]() It sounds like a decent buy ant the price is better than most but I would like to know how they're getting 200 amps continuous out of EVE 105ah cells when I've never seen anything honestly rated higher than 1C continuous.

![]() I personally wouldn't believe that... enclosed the specs of the Eve 105ah cells ( continuous charge/discharge rate 1C ). And Reviews, which can't be really verified. As i've read on here, you can get the Eco batterie currently at around $ 2.5k, with top customer service and with a lot of good experience of BGW members. Would be a no brainer for me.

![]() I’m guessing ECO Battery is using the same cells, correct? They’re rated at 175a continuous discharge so are they inflating theirs as well? I’ve done some research but still very new to all of this and just trying to make a good decision!

![]() TR,
Good Evening sir! Glad to see you are considering an Eco battery. In regards to your comments on the amp draws, I will not speak on behalf of Vatrer, but I will tell you a little about our Battery and why those numbers are what they are. While our batteries are certainly capable of those amp draws, we make sure to keep our numbers in the range where the cells are intended to be operated without any damage being done. We use the highest grade cells offered and have rigorously done testing to come up with these numbers. So while they may not be as high as some others advertised, keep in mind this is where these cells are intended to be ran at safely. Hope this helps you with your decision, and we certainly hope we can earn your business. Let me know if there's anything I can help you with. All the best, EcoChandler |
