![]() Just picked up a 73d, and an 81d yesterday from an 80 year old guy who wanted to get rid of em. Both of them have disgusting looking starter/generator belts. They are both frayed and when i straighten them they twist the first time it fires. Can anyone tell me what brand and length belt they run so i can get a pair? Thanks! Many more questions to come!

![]() just take the old one to your local auto parts store.
They'll match it up for you. |

![]() You shouldn't have any problems-just make sure the store measures it correctly-see if they use a sizer(kinda looks like a foot scale for shoes)not just eyeballin' it.
If you had issues before, the width was more than likely off.Don't over tighten the belt,it's easy to do (I know,Ha!). Good luck!! |
