![]() I have my G-9 tranny apart. Before putting back together do I need to put any of the governor hardware back in thats not attached to the shaft? I am not using as stock and the throttle linkage to the tranny is not hooked up.

![]() I don't think so, but not 100% on that. You need to plug the shaft hole with something if its empty.
I've run mine all this time and never took it apart to remove, never used governor since I got it in '99. I always say I will take it out but never want to put it in the shop where I can't use it. |
