Default 1981 EZGO 2-stroke gas 2pg clutch question

We believe the drive clutch from our 1981 EZGO gas 3-wheel golf cart has gone bad. I'm searching for replacement parts and have only found one drive clutch type for that year, on various websites. Local businesses want almost $400 for the part, while I can get it as low as $188 online.
I found a parts site that is listing a 2pg and a 3pg, and that there is a difference in clutches, but it's the only site that has stated this. Nowhere else do I see "2pg drive clutch" or "3pg drive clutch" (Ebay, other parts sites).
So my questions are:
1.) Does 2pg and 3pg make a difference? And what difference? Ours is 2pg based on the description of the location of the muffler.
2.) Do you know why the big price difference between the drive clutch quotes?
$188 to $400 seems a huge price difference for the same item.

Thanks in advance

Yours is 2pg, as all up to 88 are. Shaft diameter is smaller.

Reasonable cost and tuneable.
