Secondary clutch fell off G1
Driving around and bam. Outer sheave just fell off. Lost the castle nut and the key. Where can I get them and why in the he'll would it just fall off? I had the retaining pin in there. How could that happen??

The locknut is known to wear out. A replacement locknut should do the trick. I have seen this one before. Be careful not to over torque the nut. The threaded portion of the input shaft will break off & that's bad....

Items number 7 & 10. Just punch those part numbers into your Internet search of choice.

I just bought three of each after reading the other thread. Any reason why or how the nut could have come off with the cotter pin in?

I have replaced cotter pins with roll pins with great success. Just safety wire it if it is not tight enough in the hole.

I almost think I would rather it come off, than stay on flopping around loose tearing up unobtainable Input shaft.
