Default Converting 36 to 48 volt?

what is involved in upgrading to 48 volts besides the obvious batteries? Can you use the same motor, etc? Also what is the main advantage, is it longer run time or more power/speed? Thanks for the help, I'm still searching for the perfect project?

There is no perfect project.....sell the cart
The charger, controller, solenoid. Same motor on 48v = 20% more torque and speed.
Use the seach button at the top of the page you will find TONS of threads about what is required, what to expect, and what the actual results are..... Good luck
