89 DS 36V battery options
My friend has a 1989 Club Car DS 36V and it needs batteries. He's tight on money and looking for the lowest priced way to go. Currently it has 6 6volt batteries. I thought maybe 3 12v would be an option, but they seem to cost more than double the 6v. Any ideas?

Re: 89 DS 36V battery options
Stay away from 12v batteries as they will cost more money in the long run (much shorter lifespan than 6v). The cheapest batteries I have found out there are the Duracells sold at Sam's Club. They're around $80 a piece.
