Yamaha 1981 gas cart need help

I have a J10-034444 which I belief is 1981 cart?
Also on side of engine their is stamp with # S215-035444.
looking to find a replacement carburetor , brake pads, cables and so forth.
Any info on cart would be appreciated as I was just given this cart and would like to rebuild it. Thanks in advance.

Yeah, that's a 1981 Yamaha G1. These are outstanding carts as evidenced by there being thousands and thousands of them still in existence even though they are now 30 years old

Parts for that are widely available. Simple googling what you need will get you a lot of hits. A note, there is a "site sponsor" button above. The site sponsors provide proven support well over and above what will be provided via unknown vendors. This is something to consider while parts shopping.

Lastly, there are volumes and volumes of posts about Yamaha G1s on this forum. You'll be amazed with what you can learn from reading prior posts.
