Charger producing 39.5 volts but 0 amps?
Is this even possible? Something tells me im doing something wrong. (My money is on this) I set my multimeter on amps with the pos and neg connected to pos neg on charger plug with charger running. Reads 0 On volt settings it reads aroind 39.5. Ive already ordered a new charge anyway since this one is old and is charging ridiculously slow. Just curious what im doing wrong or if the charger is bad. Other possible relevant info: 6 brand new 8 volts. Batteries not hot or even getting warm. Charger has a Anderson sb-50 receptacle wired directly to main + and main - batteries. Seemed to work a little better when I had 4 12 volts, just switched to 6 8's. Thanks in advance.

Re: Charger producing 39.5 volts but 0 amps?
IIRC in order for your MM to read "AMPS" you need to essentially "break" the current and have it run thru your MM.
