Default 97 club car ds acceleration issue

Just got everything put back together from a build from scratch. When tested I could go slow and pick up speed as I pressed down throttle. Now build is complete and it’s only going on full speed there is no in between. Cart only reacts when pedal is almost all the way down. This cart operates with a v glide. Any help will be appreciated.

there is 3 micro switches on the f n r switch the one closest to the rear of the cart has a black a white and a green wire disconect the white and the green from the micro switch and install a jumper wire there, if the cart runs good after that follow the white wire down to a place that looks like it has been electrical taped, there is a resistor in there that needs to be replaced, mine reacted diffrently than your mine would go full speed as soon as the v glide micro closed, after installing the jumper it worked perfectly smooth accelleration and able to creep slowly if wanted and 27 mph at full throttle

Also that micro switch closest to the rear I think only activated when I move the f&r lever to the reverse position So how would that affect the acceleration issue I’m having. I’m not second guessing your response just trying to figure this out I’m going to try what ever you tell me to do
