Wheres the F/R switch located? Dash or under edge of seat...if under seat is it a rocker switch or handle?

I've seen a few series controllers shut down when they get hot. Last one I fixed I just used 4 gauge cables and made sure everything was connected good. PDS controllers are notorious for shutting down when lifts are added. (bigger tires)

f/r switch is in middle under seat but has a rod connecting to box on passenger side. When it didnt make it up the driveway I had been driving it stop and go for an hour and about 1-2 miles total distance covered.

Well I am still treading lightly with my new cart after it dying on my driveway yesterday. I charged it over night and this morning the charger read 0 DC so atleast I know it got a full charge. I took it a couple blocks from my house and back today and put it back on charger and in about 2 hours it was almost back to 0. Typically shouldn't I be able to drive ~10miles on a full charge? When I checked voltage after short cruise the voltage on the pack read 37.9 soI guess it was solid. I haven't even used my headlights or radio yet because I am worried how much the will drain my batteries. From your experience do they burn out the batteries fast? Last thing I want to happen is to get stranded and have to push the cart home.

Have you checked to see if any of the cables are getting warm while charging?

You have a series cart.

Checked the cables after an hour of charging and felt no distinguishable heat coming from them.
