When you put your meter in cont mode with an audible alarm, when you test across the posts thats when you know when your solenoid is bad, but do as rabbit has pointed as well. Go to a 400 amp alltrax it will serve you well, if you go above that you may want to consider going to a bigger motor. Just remember, sparkies can get pricey in a hurry.

I jumped the solenoid and it moved the cart in foward and my SOC led is now bright like it should be. It will not go in reverse and I have no reverse buzzer so does this mean my controller is bad or is the solenoid bad because it won't work in reverse.

You said you already ordered an upgraded solenoid. Go ahead and order the 400 altrax and be done with it. You'll wonder why you waited so long.
