Reading a digital voltage meter on 36v Yamaha G8
My question is, what should the batteries read under load. I have a analog meter and it has never come close to red with the new batteries. But I hooked up a digital meter just to see what exactly its doing and it got as low as 34 volts if I floor it on any type of incline but only for a second then it sits around 36 or so until I let go of accelerator. I do have a lift kit and 22in tires. Is this normal? I've never seen the batteries below 37.4 volts sitting still after driving it all day.

Normal, that sounds like strong btteries to me. When you start seeing the voltages dropping below 31 during initial acceleration, the batts are getting weak, or just need a recharge.
