2 stage reed valves for a 2pg will be a hard find.Feather edge the port dividers at the cyl. base, make the ports equal size from side to side, cut .025 from the head( there is lots of room on these), use a larger carb and you will make decent power. Still won't be a stump puller. Peak RPM on that motor will just be where an expansion chamber would start to come in. You can't rev it high enough to make it worth while. Want more? consider a snowmobile engine.

Was told they have a part number 650 that matches right up (FYI ) http://www.boyesen.com/power-reeds-atv Was glad to get a number on how much to mill the head .I think I will cc it and do the math to bump the compression ratio by one point . |
