As I said long distance diagnosis is sometimes difficult. If you were to post a number like, for example, 65 psi we would all say that it is rebuild time but only you can "feel" how it is working. So if you think that it feels good it probably is.
Now if you could let us know what happens with the new parts perhaps by fitting one at a time that would be great. Good luck Dave |

Went ahead and checked compression 120 forward and reverse did hei upgrade and installed the new carb and she's running like a champ

Well we now know it was either spark or carb. Feels good getting it running don't it?

It sure does I can't believe how much hotter spark it gives on the hei upgrade but I do know it was the carb. I changed it last cause problem was still there until I changed carb.
