I've heard of Trojan making a "black case" battery that anyone can put their label on but I can't state it as fact.

I have the small ezgo charger that's got the big heat sink fins on the side of it, ,I believe it's called the powerwise qe. anyway I'm reading around and finding out that this charger, compared to a dpi style, has an effect on charging batteries. what's the difference between chargers and should my powerwise qe have any issue charging a specific type of battery?

The "FVP" golf batteries have been pretty darn good. We offered them as a "economy-battery" for a while. We dont offer an "econo" line anymore. They were a bit "burpy/messy", but had a very low failure rate (i saw 2 batteries fail early, of all the sets we used). Of course, they were claimed as a "made by trojan" battery, arent they all "made by trojan" right?...?...?. For a "second-tier" battery, i would use them myself (and wash them often). They always tested at least "on-par" with their peers, new and used (lifespan has been fine). As far as the correct mode, i used a "trojan" mode with no problem. (Trojan mode is a "gentle" mode for batts).
